Work with you and your team to optimize your program goals, roles. I have extensive experience with my own program and coaching others in getting the most out of the team.
Speed
Speed is technical. I have studied speed from the fundamentals of tuning to optimum trim and use of sail controls. The whole team needs to be involved with speed, not just the driver and trimmer.
Starting
One of my favorite subjects is starting. By putting a process to starting, we can reduce the variables. It is unreasonable to expect to win the start without too much risk. The goal is to be able to consistently get on the course and thus be able to use your speed and tactical skills to finish consistently at the top.
Strategy and tactics
Having coached high level racing, I have had the luxury or watching many championship races unfold. I have put an analytical method together for coaching Strategy and Tactics. It is a true process that works!
The mental game
I was able to work extensively with Gerry May, a USOC sports psychologist. As an analytical sailor and coach it was fascinating to learn to recognize how different people approach the sailing game and how to get them most out of them for peak performance at the highest levels of the sport.

Nothing beats a good coaches eye -except technology! Where appropriate I bring in tools such as:
